Yokohama Aikido Dojo was established to spread Aikido in the Yamate area of Yokohama. History and intercultural relations are at the heart of our practice, and our main goal is to promote Japanese culture and foster relationships between Japanese and foreign families through the practice of Japanese martial arts. The classes are taught in both Japanese and English, so those who do not speak Japanese at all are welcome.

The dojo is officially affiliated to the Aikikai Foundation and all ou instructors received directly their credentials from Ueshiba Moriteru, Aikido Doshu.
