Kacchu-bujutsu (armored martial art) Sosuishi-ryu was perfected in the early Edo period and handed down to the Kuroda clan in Fukuoka. It was handed down to the Kanto region by Momotaro Matsui in the early Meiji period.
Koson-kai has been a member organization since the founding of the Japan Kobudo Promotion Society, which continues this tradition.
At the Saitama Branch, students first learn the basics of “Koshinomawari (Iaijutsu)” and “Kumiuchi (Jujutsu),” and then practice and study various weapons through “Kumidachi” and ” Shizan”.
