The secret sword based Aiki method from the Sagawa lineage —now unveiled!

“Aiki age” and “Aiki sage” are known as the signature empty-hand techniques of Sagawa-ha Daito-ryu, but the same principles also apply directly to kenjutsu.
In this video, I present the sword methods I inherited from my teachers, SAGAWA Yukiyoshi-sensei and YOSHIMARU Keisetsu-sensei, organized according to their underlying principles.
This material is designed for practitioners of all levels—from beginners to advanced students—to explore the essence of “Aiki.”
I hope it supports you in your training.

Supervisor / Instructor: ARIMITSU Shouji
Born in Kagoshima Prefecture, ARIMITSU Shouji began his training in the Aiki Rentai-kai in 2001 after reading The Secrets of Aikido by the late YOSHIMARU Keisetsu-shihan. He began assisting in training seminars after Yoshimaru-shihan’s health declined in 2004.
He was later appointed by Yoshimaru-shihan as the second soshihan (head instructor) of the Aiki Rentai-kai.
Since then, he has continued to devote himself to the further study and dissemination of Daito-ryu.
