Yamamoto-ha Daito-ryu is a jujutsu style that has been handed down in Aizu (Fukushima Prefecture). In the Meiji era, it was introduced to the world by Takeda Sokaku sensei. The late Kakuyoshi Yamamoto sensei was the last disciple of the late Sokaku Takeda sensei. It was then passed on to Nagao Zensuke sensei, and through fate, I have inherited this bujutsu. It is characterized especially by its techniques of swords, and is a combination of Iaijutsu (Mugen Shinto-ryu) and Ono-ha Itto-ryu kenjutsu.
