Zunan-kai Satsuma Jigen-ryu tsurugitachi-do

We practice Kagoshima’s local education, such as Sengi (discussion), yamasaka tassha (physical culture), and budo shuren (Nodachi jigen-ryu).
We are an organization that combines the old school (Nodachi Jikenryu), which does not change and must not be changed, and the new school (Tsurugitachi), which absorbs the parts that must be changed in accordance with the times.
Through our practice, we aim to become people who are both literate and altruistic, and who are beneficial to society.

Training date and time / Location

Practice Location The dojo is located in a park near the Kamiitabashi Gymnasium, with careful consideration given to the surrounding environment. In case of rain, training is held at the Budojo of the Kamiitabashi Gymnasium. Practice Schedule Every Saturday from 13:00 to 16:30 Training for "Sengi (Hamaoka-style Sengi)" and "Yamasaka Tassha (Teamwork)" is held irregularly.
