HOME > Budo Dojo Guide > Tosa Jikiden eishin-ryu Shohakkai

We study the Tosa Eishin-ryu, which has been practiced in the Kochi domain since the middle of the Edo period and is the origin of modern iai.
Even today, we are training to maintain the ancient traditions that have been practiced since the Edo period.
The students practice “Seiza no bu,” “Tachi-hiza no bu,” “Oku-iai iwaza,” “Tachi-waza,” “Eishin-ryu no kata,” “tachi-uchi no kurai,” and “Tsumeai no kurai,” depending on the progression of their training.
