"Do something, no matter what the situation."

Shurikenjutsu is unlike any other martial art. It begins where most techniques end-with nothing but a tiny weapon hidden in the palm of your hand, in what seems like the worst possible situation. And yet, from this desperate starting point, Shurikenjutsu reveals a philosophy and tactical brilliance that can turn the tide in an instant.

This book unveils the secret principles behind the art of the Shuriken̶methods so profound they resonate across all martial disciplines and even elite-level sports. Discover how the smallest, weakest, and simplest weapon can become the strongest. Learn the miracle of reversal, the strategy of survival, and the awakening of dormant human potential.

What hidden powers lie within the training of Shurikenjutsu?
How can minimal tools lead to maximum impact?
Prepare to be surprised, inspired, and transformed.

The Author Katsuhiko Kizaki

Born in Nishitama County, Tokyo, in 1960.Grandmaster of Wadenryū Shurikendō & Yamairyū Jūjutsu Kempō.

He began training in karate with the Hakushinkai at the age of 10. While active as a competitor, he also acquired a certified instructor qualification and engaged in coaching the next generation of practitioners, serving as the coach for the Nishitama County team in competitions like the Tokyo Citizens' Athletic Meet.

Furthermore, from the age of 30, he served as the President of the Nishitama County Karate Federation for over 10 years.During this time, he also trained in other martial arts, including Judo and Chinese martial arts. However, as he got older, he began to question modern martial arts whose effectiveness wanes with age, and so he sought out and researched older, traditional styles of martial arts.

In the process, he encountered Hakko-ryu Jujutsu and became a student. Receiving instruction from the 2nd generation Soke, Ryuho Okuyama, he was granted certification as a Shihan (Master Instructor), Kaiden (Full Transmission), Sandai-Kichu , and also as a certified instructor for Seitaijutsu and Koho Shiatsu, which are passed down within the same school.

He became deeply devoted to the techniques and theories of Soke Isao Tsuruta in Waden-ryu Shurikenjutsu and Yamairyu Jujutsu Kempō, and through diligent training, he received Menkyo Kaiden (full transmission) in 2012 and was designated as the next Soke.

In 2016, he established his own dojo, the Yamaikan Dojo where he currently instructs students. There are branches in Memmingen, Southern Germany, and Manchester, England.
